PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shock resistance and reduce thickness, in a storage medium having a shock-absorbing function. SOLUTION: The information storage device includes: a main case 10 that stores the storage medium; shock-absorbing members 11, which are installed on corners of the main case 10, for absorbing an impact applied to the main case 10 in three-axial directions that are mutually orthogonal; and converting members 13, which are arranged between the main case 10 and the shock-absorbing member 11, for converting part of the impact applied in a first axial direction among the three-axial directions that are mutually orthogonal to the main case 10, into a second axial direction orthogonal to the first axial direction.
