PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved printing method for properly deciding the ejection speed of liquid droplets. SOLUTION: An image forming method enables the acquisition of images formed of a plurality of ink liquid droplets arranged in a plurality of positions on an image-receiving medium by using an inkjet printer including an ink chamber having an ink liquid droplet ejection part and a transducer corresponding to the chamber. The method includes: deciding required accuracy in the arrangement of the liquid droplets on the image receiving medium relative to each ink liquid droplet, corresponding to the speed of the liquid droplets ejected from the chamber; creating an electric pulse corresponding to the ejection speed of the liquid droplets; and applying the electric pulse to the transducer to create a pressure wave in the ink chamber so that the ink liquid droplets can be ejected from the chamber at the ejection speed.
