PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic treatment device for sludge which prevents the reduction in electrolytic efficiency by removing a scale adhering to a cathode, and can remove sludge scum retained between electrode plates by circulating it with agitation flow and mixing it with sludge in an electrolytic treatment tank. SOLUTION: The electrolytic treatment device for electrolyzing excess sludge generated associated with activated sludge treatment of organic waste water and sterilizing microbes in excess sludge comprises a plurality of nozzles 8 blasting high-pressure water between the electrode plates 7 around the bottom of the electrode plates 7 juxtaposing a cathode 71 and an anode 72 reciprocally.
