PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of an embedded mailbox in which the top surface of a mailbox body is easily reinforced. SOLUTION: The mailbox body 2 of the embedded mailbox 1 comprises: a rectangular storage part 3 without a rear surface; and a rectangular and cylindrical mail drop part 4 protruded forward penetrating the front wall upper part 3a of the storage part 3. The mailbox body 2 is formed by using a first and second flat plates. A U shape end part G1 is formed on one side of the first flat plate and in an area corresponding to both side surfaces 4b and top surface 4c of the mail drop part 4. A U shape end part G2 is formed on one side of the second flat plate and in an area corresponding to both side surfaces 3d and top surface 3f of the storage part 3. The first and second flat plates are connected via the U shape end parts G1, G2, then bent integrally. Thus, the mailbox body 2 is formed.
