PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for peeling a rod-shaped vegetable, which is excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: The apparatus for peeling the rod-shaped vegetable, which includes a feeding device 20 for sending the rod-shaped vegetable downward and a blade device 40 for peeling the skin of the rod-shaped vegetable arranged below the feeding device 20, wherein the feeding device 20 consists of a pair of rollers 34A and 34B arranged so as to be opposed to each other, freely rotatable and energized inward and a motor 23 arranged between the pair of the rollers 34A, 34B and driving the rollers 34A, 34B so as to send the rod-shaped vegetable downward.
