The system has a medium-rail system (16) running above the room floor (12), which gives a rough layout for the possible traverse path of the carriage (14). An energy input unit is arranged on the medium-rail system. An auxiliary car (18) moves along the medium-rail system and has medium with which the energy input unit of the medium-rail system receives energy. A coupling unit (20) connects the auxiliary car with the carriage, by which the drive motor of the carriage transfers energy and the carriage implements deviating movements in relation to the medium-rail system. A steering sensor (42) detects the process of guiding system (22) arranged in the space soil and controls the steering (28), in such a manner that multiple carriages are guided in a pushing unit along the guiding system.
