<p>A connector includes an electrical insulating body, a terminal element that is supported on the body and is connected to a core conductor W of a cable C, and a grounding structure that is provided on the body so as to be insulated from the terminal element and is connected to a shield layer of the cable C. The grounding structure includes a grounding member fixed to the body. The grounding member is disposed along a surface proximate to the body of the shield layer of the cable C having the core conductor W connected to the terminal element and is connected to the shield layer. The grounding member includes a cable-connecting section connected to the shield layer of the cable C, and a ground-contacting section capable of being brought into conductive contact with a corresponding grounding element of a counterpart connector.</p> |
