A SUS typed keypad having separated keys and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent interference operation between keys when the keys are pressed by using a SUS metal sheet. Plural keys(100) with SUS metal materials are formed. By etching a SUS metal sheet(102) for a keypad, plural penetrating holes are formed. The SUS metal sheet on which the keys and penetrating holes are formed is positioned on a zig. A tape(108) is attached on a surface of the keys and SUS metal sheet. A urethane sheet(110) on which key characters is printed is overlapped with a rear surface of the keys and SUS metal sheet. Keypad domes(114) are formed on a rear surface of the urethane sheet through a thermal pressing on silicon(112), which is overlapped with the rear surface of the urethane sheet for the urethane sheet to be attached to the rear surface of the keys and SUS metal sheet.
