<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-based ink for inkjet printing excellent in the print density of a printing made on plain paper or the like, to provide a water dispersion to be used for the ink, and a method for improving the print density of a printing using the water-based ink. <P>SOLUTION: According to one embodiment of the invention, the water dispersion for inkjet printing comprises a colorant, metal oxide fine particles whose average particle diameter is 110-400 nm, and water-insoluble polymer particles, and contains the metal oxide fine particles and the colorant in a weight ratio (metal oxide fine particle/colorant) of 0.15-10, and, according to another embodiment, the water dispersion for inkjet printing comprises metal oxide fine particles whose average particle diameter is not more than 400 nm, and colorant-containing water-insoluble polymer particles, and contains the metal oxide fine particles and the colorant in a weight ratio (metal oxide fine particle/colorant) of 0.15-10, and the water-based ink for inkjet printing contains the water dispersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
