<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic actuator that reduces adverse effects on the oscillation of piezoelectric elements to enhance efficiency as an ultrasonic actuator, while preventing the piezoelectric elements from being broken, due to stresses concentrating on a junction of wires for power feeding to the piezoelectric elements. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic actuator comprises a piezoelectric element (10) for causing vibrations different from one another in the vibration direction, drivers (2, 2) provided to the piezoelectric element (10) for outputting a drive force in a predetermined drive direction when acting according to the vibrations of the piezoelectric element (10), feed electrodes (8, 8,_...) provided to the piezoelectric element (10) and electrically connected to the piezoelectric element (10), and support feed section (6A, 6B, 7A, 7B, 9A) elastically supporting the piezoelectric element (10) while being in contract with the feed electrodes (8, 8,_...) and serving as feed terminals for feeding power to the feed electrodes (8, 8,_...). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
