PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter/receiver capable of easily receiving the one-segment broadcasting of a terrestrial digital television with the use of a portable terminal such as a cellular phone even in an electric wave-shielded space or a feeble electric field space. SOLUTION: The transmitter/receiver includes: a resend means 6 for inputting a first terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave comprising a one-segment broadcasting wave, and transmitting a second terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave, which is obtained by performing frequency conversion processing at least in the one-segment broadcasting wave of the inputted first terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave, from a resend antenna 7; and a receiving means 9 for receiving the second terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave via a reception antenna. The resend means 6 includes: a frequency converting means for performing conversion into a frequency lower than the lower limit frequency of the frequency band of the broadcasting wave so as to acquire the second terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave; and a driving means for driving the resent antenna 7 so as to transmit the second terrestrial digital television broadcasting wave from the resent antenna 7.
