PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-of-flight type mass spectrometer capable of efficiently drawing out ions by increasing an acceleration voltage. SOLUTION: The time-of-flight type mass spectrometer is structured so that ions emitted from an ion source are accelerated by an ion acceleration part and are detected by a detector 3 through a reflection electric field. Potentials in a starting position of the acceleration part and an ending position of the acceleration part interpose a ground potential, and are supplied by power sources of positive and negative electrodes, and potentials of the reflection electric field are made different between an incident side and an emission side. With this structure, the acceleration voltage can be increased, and the ions are more efficiently drawn out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
