PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair-type massage machine which performs stretching from a distal end part of an arm such as a hand part or a finger part of a person to be treated to a shoulder part. SOLUTION: In the chair-type massage machine equipped with a seat part 1 where the person to be treated is seated, a backrest part 2 where the back of the person to be treated leans, and a raising and reclining operation part for raising and reclining the backrest part 2 to the seat part 1, stretching operation is performed by reclining the backrest part 2 while only the distal end part of the arm from the hand part to the finger part of the person to be treated is fixed to the side of the seat part 1.
