PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the plate material feed-in structure of a horizontal multistage press apparatus capable of enhancing a product yield by preventing the occurrence of clogging or the like on the way of feed by smoothly feeding a plate material to be treated into the gap between the hot plates of a heating and pressurizing part from the feed-in body of a feed-in part to reduce the obstacle of the horizontal multistage press apparatus. SOLUTION: A pressing frame 230 has a width in the back and forth direction straddling all of the plate materials W1 to be treated (feed-in route K) and presses the end surfaces on the rear side of a feed direction with respect to the plate materials W1 transferred to a roller conveyor 160 in an erected state by a feed-in roller conveyor 210 to assist the initial transfer delay in the feed-in roller conveyor 210. Since the press frame 230 presses a part lower than the central position of height in an up and down direction at the end surface on the rear side in the feed direction of the plate materials W1 by extending the rod 231a of a moving air cylinder 231, the plate materials W1 can be pressed by relatively small pressure force.
