The method involves producing an auxiliary moment (ZM) during obtaining a maximum steering angle or steering wheel angle value resulting from a transverse dynamic evaluation. The amount of the steering moment (LM) is increased by the produced auxiliary moment, so that a block noticeable at a steering wheel (6) is formed for restraining or preventing the increase of the steering angle and/or steering wheel angle value. The auxiliary moment is produced for reducing the amount of steering moment acting in a direction of smaller steering angle and/or steering wheel angle value.
