The electric roller toothbrush is an invention fundamentally pursuing proper oral hygiene through improved elimination of bacterial plaque from dental pieces and gums and as a consequence preventing caries and periodontal diseases. Achievement of this objective is based on simple and effective mechanical cleaning in accordance with the Bass and Stillman method, comprising elimination of bacterial plaque from anterior and posterior faces of the teeth, from interdental areas, from gums and from gingival sulci through vertical brush movements, at all times brushing from the gums towards the teeth. It is basically a matter of a brush having bristles helicoidally-disposed in roller form driven by an electric motor capable of bidirectional rotation, permitting proper hygiene of all dental pieces with great convenience and accessibility.
