Security system for a handling door with flexible curtain.

The device has a flexible apron/curtain (5) moving between opening and closing positions inside a guiding device forming a slide (15). Two pairs of safety cells (23, 24) are placed on both sides of the slide and at a same height with respect to a ground (S) so that each pair of cells emits horizontal beam (F3) directed upstream and downstream of the curtain with respect to a direction of passage. The pairs of cells are mounted in parallel so that the beams are cut at a same time to permit the device to stop the descent of curtain and to assure the rising of curtain in the opening position.
