A method, a distributed network management system and a notification sending service device for implementing a Notification Service are disclosed. The method includes: setting a notification sending service unit in a distributed network management system; acquiring information regarding the notification sending service unit by a managing unit and a managed unit in the distributed network management system; subscribing, by the managing unit, to a notification from the managed unit; sending, by the managed unit, the notification subscribed by the managing unit to the managing unit through the notification sending service unit based on the information regarding the notification sending service unit. With the above solution, a Notification Service can be implemented using the exiting telecommunication network management interface in the distributed network management system.
