<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize the function of a unit corresponding to the communication system of a standard different from a communication system as one of functions of the unit constituting the communication system by resetting information on a data communication equipment used in a first communication means in accordance with the connection state of a second communication means. SOLUTION: A communication system is constituted of a printer 102, a personal computer 103 and a scanner 104. Respective units execute communication through a communication interface corresponding to the communication system of a common standard. A digital camera 101 communicates with the printer 102 through the communication interface of the standard different from the communication system. Thus, picture data can be transferred even if communication, based on the communication system of the different standard is executed. Thus, the function of the unit corresponding to the communication system of the standard different from the communication system can be recognized as one of the functions of the unit constituting the communication system.</p> |
