<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a deflection synchronizing type device in an outer drum image recording system. SOLUTION: By deflecting light from two-dimensionally arrayed light source groups and moving an image formed on a recording medium with the movement of the recording medium, the image is made still relatively to the recording medium in a main scanning direction. By moving an optical system at constant speed in a subscanning direction and successively shifting modulated data of the two-dimensionally arrayed light source groups in a reverse direction to the moving direction of the optical system in synchronism with the movement of the optical system in the subscanning direction, the image is made still relatively to the recording medium also in the subscanning direction.</p> |
