COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING WHITE SPOT SYNDROME VIRUS

A composition for treating or preventing arthropod disease caused by white spot syndrome virus is provided to reduce damage of arthropod caused by white spot syndrome virus without side effects. A composition for treating or preventing arthropod disease caused by white spot syndrome virus comprises extracts of Artemisia japonica and Saururus chinensis in a mixing ratio of 7:3 to 3:7 coated by hydrophilic and nonhydrophilic polymers, wherein the extracts of Artemisia japonica and Saururus chinensis are formulated as granule before being coated by the polymer. The arthropod disease caused by white spot syndrome virus is treated or prevented by adding 300-700g of Artemisia japonica and Saururus chinensis extracts into 1 ton of feed.
