A double-locking release body for a terminal and a release method thereof are provided to enable a locking status between the housing and the terminal to be released while the double-locking release body is inserted to a through space to enable the terminal, which is installed strongly and double-locked within a housing, to be easily separated as necessary. A double-locking release body for a terminal(30) releases double-locking by a housing lance and a terminal lance in a through space within a housing. The double-locking release body for the terminal includes a knob(32), a first release pin(34) and a second release pin(38). The first release pin is extended from the knob to transform the terminal lance elastically. The second release pin is extended from the knob and is extended in parallel with the first release pine with a predetermined interval from the first release pin and transforms the housing lance elastically.
