An envelope 2 for dispatching circular data storage media, like CDs, DVDs, HD-DVDs or BDs, has additional adhesive areas 316 for securing a rectangular closure flap portion 300 onto adhered-together front and rear rectangular side portions 200, 100 of the envelope. The closure flap portion is provided with a first adhesive means 310 which extends in parallel to its long side 302. The additional adhesive areas comprise releasable adhesive means 316 adjacent its side edges 304 acting through punch holes 314a, 314b to contact non-fraying areas (214, Figure 2) of the front side portion 200 which will not rupture when the portions are separated to open the envelope. The envelope can be re-used. In alternative constructions, the additional adhesive areas may be provided on the front or rear side portion. |
