A manually operated vibrator comprises a striking mechanism2to cause vibrations actuated by a plunger7, all contained within a cylindrical body1. Vibrations are caused in both directions of stroke of the plunger7. The striking mechanism2may be fitted with at least one striker10. The speed of pushing or pulling the plunger7controls the frequency of vibrations. The outer surface of a striker actuator3may have corrugations which when pushed through the striking mechanism2causes the at least one striker10to impact on the inside of the cylindrical body1. The striker actuator3may be returned to the rest position by means of a compression spring5. The at least one striker may cause vibrations from both the push and the return stroke. The plunger7may have dampening means in the form of a spring8. |
