#CMT# #/CMT# The channel choice technique is for the preservation of connectivity in local networks and involves a radio transmission and receiving unit which transmits messages for other installations. #CMT# : #/CMT# Several radio units are involved, with which simultaneously on differing frequency channels messages are sent. A method is promoted which determines which frequency channels of the radio units must be used in order to guarantee a connection between installations via a common frequency channel. In the network as a whole a number of different channels in accordance with an appropriate distribution are used in order to obviate reciprocal disturbance between transmitted messages as far as possible.
