<p>Rapid steam generator comprises a porous body (1) that is heated by a hot fluid flowing through the porous body in a direction perpendicular to the penetration direction of a medium to be vaporized. At least one part of the medium to be vaporized is atomized by spraying onto the entry surface of the porous body. Preferred Features: The body is made of a porous ceramic material. The medium to be vaporized is water or a non-explosive liquid. The hot fluid is an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine or heating system with a temperature of more than 1200[deg] at the point of entry into the porous body.</p> |
