Production of a chain of clips (2) for fixing car seat coverings in position comprises injection molding them at fixed distances (4) on to a flexible cord (3). Independent claims are included for: (A) clips produced using the method; and (B) a machine for carrying out the method with a mold which has an aperture, through which the cord is passed.
