A printing paper and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to produce a functional printing paper having an excellent printability, by applying anion elements coated with polymer and silver nanoparticles on the printing paper uniformly. A raw paper(20) of which a thickness is 70~350mum, is prepared by using pulp as a source. A functional solution is applied onto one surface or both surfaces of the raw paper to form a functional layer(10). The functional solution contains 10-100 ppm of anion elements coated with polymer and 10-200 ppm of silver nanoparticles. The functional layer formed on the paper is dried. The pulp is prepared by using a mixture of one or more selected from wood pulp, cotton pulp, bamboo pulp, manila hemp pulp, and reproduction pulp. |
