An ultrasonic wave-flow meter and a method using the same are provided to easily measure the water level and water flow by attaching an inclination detecting sensor to an ultrasonic wave sensor part without setting the ultrasonic wave sensor perpendicular to the water surface. An ultrasonic wave-flow meter comprises a control part(110), a sensor part(120), a temperature detecting part(130) for detecting temperature to compensate for the speed of ultrasonic wave in air, a controller(140), a timer(150) and a display part(160). The sensor part outputs an ultrasonic wave, inspects a reflected ultrasonic wave and detects inclination of the ultrasonic wave relative to the vertical direction. The controller compensates for the speed of ultrasonic wave and calculates the time spent to receive the reflected ultrasonic wave after emitting the ultrasonic wave. |
