A method for receiving and relaying a broadcast signal is provided to allow a broadcast receiving/relaying device receiving a broadcast to register receiving channel information to a management server, and allow a broadcast receiving/relaying device in a broadcast dead zone to receive the channel information from the management server and receive a desired broadcast from a proper broadcast receiving/relaying device, thereby receiving the broadcast even in the broadcast dead zone. A method for receiving and relaying a broadcast signal comprises the following steps of: allowing a broadcast receiving/relaying device to determine whether the broadcast signal can be received from the quality of received airwaves if the broadcast receiving/relaying device is operated; allowing the broadcast receiving/relaying device to transmit information about a received broadcast channel and the broadcast receiving/relaying device to a management server for the broadcast receiving/relaying device through a data communication network and register the information to a list of a host broadcast receiving/relaying device while receiving and reproducing a broadcast of a channel which a user designates if the reception of the broadcast is possible(320,330,340); and if not, allowing the broadcast receiving/relaying device to request the list of the host broadcast receiving/relaying device to the management server for the broadcast receiving/relaying device through the data communication network, connect with a host broadcast receiving/relaying device of the received list through the data communication network, streaming-receive and reproduce the broadcast, which the host broadcast receiving/relaying device is receiving, from the host broadcast receiving/relaying device through the data communication network(350,360). |
