<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a machining process and to form a valve housing having a flange with high strength and rigidity. SOLUTION: This housing has a body 1 that is mainly formed of a cylindrical part 11 in the cylindrical form, has an engagement projecting part 12 formed so as to develop radially over the entire circumference at an opening end, and is integrally formed by a cold forging means using metallic members. The housing also has a flange member 2 that has an engagement recessed part 22 formed to be engaged with the engagement projecting part 12 of the body 1 on the inner diameter side, has an annular shape as a whole, has a predetermined thickness, and is integrally formed by the cold forging means using metallic members. The engagement projecting part 12 of the body 1 is engaged and crimped with the engagement recessed part 22 of the flange member 2, thereby forming the housing having the flange.</p> |
