READER OF RFID SYSTEM HAVING MULTI FREQUENCY AND MULTI PROTOCOL

A reader for an RFID system having multiple frequencies and protocols is provided to offer compatibility for a plurality of frequencies/protocols by receiving signals of all frequency channels and selecting one RF signal of one frequency band according to an external command signal. An antenna receives the signal of a plurality of frequency channels. A signal receiving unit includes a plurality of signal receivers, and demodulates the signal by receiving the signal of each frequency band among the received signals and mixing the received signal with the frequency used in a PLL(Phase Locked Loop). A digital signal processor selects the signal receiver receiving the RF signal of a tag among demultiplexed data according to the external command signal and outputs the selected demultiplexed data. A controller transmits the demodulated data to a terminal by using the WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network), the Ad-hoc network, or the WiBro(Wireless Broadband) network.
