The method involves carrying a substrate (2) into the pick and place devices to fit with components and stopped at a position. The substrate is brought into a storing position. Another substrate (16) is carried in the pick and place machines to fit with components and stopped at another position. The latter substrate is brought into a latter storage position. The former substrate and the latter substrate are carried together into a pick and place region by the former and the latter storage positions. An independent claim is also included for a transport system in pick and place machines.
