A method for growing Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor by repeating transplantation is provided to enlarge the root of Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor and prevent its root from getting rotten by repeating the process of growing the Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor in a low-lying region from spring to autumn and then transplanting it to a hilly region in late autumn. A method for growing Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor by repeating transplantation comprises the steps of: sowing a movable seed-plot with the seeds of Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor in a hilly region (800m above sea level) in late autumn of that year, and allowing the seeds to pass the winter; transplanting the Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor to a low-lying region (200m above sea level) in spring next year; transplanting the Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor to the hilly region in late autumn, and allowing it to pass the winter; transplanting the Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor to the low-lying region in spring next year; and transplanting all the roots to the hilly region at intervals of 30cm in late autumn, followed by growing them for two years.
