An air inflow regulating apparatus for a burner is provided to reduce the volume of the burner by attaching the air inflow regulating apparatus directly to a vehicle body. An air inflow regulating apparatus for a burner(A) includes a regulating unit attached directly to the burner to regulate an air inflow rate by permitting an air inflow regulating plate(C) to move back and forth, and open or close a combustion air supply unit(a1). The air inflow regulating plate includes a cylinder(10), a cylinder rod(11), a connection member(12), a travel bar(13), and a travel bar housing(14). The cylinder is attached to one end of the burner, and generates force for moving the air inflow regulating plate. The cylinder rod moves in a forward or backward direction on the basis of the force generated by the cylinder. The connection member is joined to the cylinder rod and the travel bar so as to transmit reciprocating motion of the cylinder rod to the travel bar. The travel bar is joined to the connection member, and has an end connected to the air inflow regulating plate so as to transmit the reciprocating motion of the cylinder rod transmitted by the connection member to the air inflow regulating plate. The travel bar housing is arranged to house the travel bar such that the travel bar is prevented from escaping from its axis of movement due to the weight of the air inflow regulating plate. |
