A device for assisting in the assessment of mental qualities comprises a number of separated compartments, each to be occupied by one person, and means for providing communication between each compartment and selected other compartments according to a pattern predetermined by the person conducting the test. A table 1 around which the participants sit, may be divided by vertical panels 3 and covers 18 into separate compartments. Following a problem set by the leader, or some other instruction, the participants may communicate by means of written notes which may be passed through apertures 6 to the adjacent persons or they may be put in apertures 8 which communicate through interchangeable tubes with selected other participants who receive them through an appropriate outlet 9. An indicator lamp, not visible to the participants, may be associated with each compartment and lit by pressing a switch 16. |
