A car-audio system with a detachable front panel is provided to improve usability by installing RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting /receiving units on the detachable front panel and a car-audio main body. A car-audio system with a detachable front panel comprises a car-audio main body, and a detachable front panel(200). The car-audio main body consists of a self-RF(radio frequency) receiving unit(235) modulating a starting control signal transmitted from the detachable front panel to be modulated into an RF frequency, a starting control unit controlling starting of an engine, and a car-audio main body control unit controlling the starting control unit by inputting the starting control signal demodulated from the RF receiving unit. The detachable front panel includes a key input unit(225) wherein a key signal is input for remote controlling the starting control unit, a self-RF transmitting unit transmitting the starting control signal demodulated into the RF signal to the car-audio main body, and a front panel control unit(210) transmitting the starting control signal to the RF receiving/transmitting units in case the key signal for remote control is input from the key input unit.
