Into each golf club bore ( 36 ) is inserted a golf club sleeve ( 78 ) that includes a vertical notch ( 82 ) that maintains each golf club ( 170 ) in an orderly, angular position. The golf club bag ( 10 ) also includes a shoulder harness ( 142 ), a plurality of utility pockets ( 158 ), and an articulated, combination golf bag stand and wheel assembly ( 90 ). The assembly ( 90 ) can be positioned to allow the golf club bag ( 12 ) to be placed in a stationary position or to be placed in a position that allows the golf club bag ( 12 ) to be pushed or pulled by means of a handle ( 156 ) that is attached to the golf club bag ( 12 ).
