<p>An image display is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by performing an initial operation of an initial transistor using a control signal for sampling an image signal supplied to scan lines. An image display includes scan lines for supplying a control signal, signal lines for supplying an image signal, and pixel circuits(1) formed between the scan and signal lines. Each of the pixel circuits includes a drive transistor(Td), a sampling transistor(T1), a capacitor(Cs), and a light-emitting element(OLED). The sampling transistor samples the image signal from the signal lines to the capacitor. The capacitor supplies an input voltage between gate and source of the drive transistor. The drive transistor supplies an output current based on the input voltage to the light-emitting element. The pixel circuit includes a setting transistor which sets a gate of the drive transistor to a reference potential before sampling image signal.</p> |
