DENTIFRICE COMPOSITIONS HAVING IMPROVED ANTICALCULUS PROPERTIES

A storage stable oral composition which is effective against calculus whic h contains an orally acceptable vehicle having incorporated therein an effecti ve anticalculus combination of about 0.5 to about 2% by weight of a water solub le pyrophosphate salt and about 0.5 to about 3% by weight of a water soluble polyphosphate salt. The presence in the composition of polyvalent metal compounds and fluoride compounds do not affect the stability of the composition as well as reactive ingredients such as peroxide and bicarbonate compounds.< /SDOAB>
