<p>A device for controlling tilt of a front panel is provided to control a location of a front panel tilt mechanism precisely and enhance the durability of the tilt mechanism by counting or measuring the tilt mechanism of a car media player with an optical sensor. A motor(310) is a stepping motor, and is rotated in a forward or reverse direction. A motor operator(320) controls operation of the motor to tilt or restore a front panel(125). An optical sensor(330) optically measures movement of a moving member(260) for tilting the front panel. A controller(340) generates a command for controlling the motor operation based on the measured movement of the moving member. The optical sensor measures the movement of the moving member by decoding a mark attached to the moving member.</p> |
