MUTE IMAGE TRANSMITTING METHOD FOR MULTILATERAL IMAGE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

A method for transmitting a mute image in a multi-point video communication terminal is provided to register a mute image for each person for video call communication to remove user inconvenience of setting a mute image whenever a person of a video call or a video call group is changed. An image to be provided to a video communication terminal when an image transmission of a user is temporarily held is registered(S101). It is checked whether a mute signal with respect to an image transmission is generated during a multi-party video call(S103). When a mute signal is generated, it is checked whether identification information of each person and whether a mute image set for each person have been registered(S105). The mute image for each person is transmitted to a terminal of each person(S107).
