A 6-speed power train for an automatic transmission of a vehicle is provided to form a flow path by diversely arranging brakes and clutches properly and to improve reverse ascending performance by using a reverse 3-shift range. A first planetary gear set(PG1) includes a first operation element(S1) operating as an input/stationary element, a second operation element(R1) operating as an input element, and a third operation element(PC1) operating as an output element. A second planetary gear set(PG2) includes a first operation element(S2) operating as an input/stationary element, a second operation element(PC2) operating as an output element, a third operation element(PC2) operating as a stationary element, and a fourth operation element(S3) operating as an input element. A clutch member has one clutch(C1) controlling a coupling state of the first planetary gear set, and second and third clutches(C2,C3) interposed between the first and second planetary gear sets. A brake member has brakes(B1,B2,B3) connecting one operation element of the first and second planetary gear set with a transmission housing.
