<p>A reusable sealable plastic drum (100) incorporates a plastic drum body (102 ) with a convex upper chime (110) having a convex chime radius. The plastic li d (114) has an annular, peripheral mating channel (118) sized to accept the upper chime. The channel has an inner wall (120), an outer wall (122), a mou th for receiving the upper chime, and a base surface (124) for engaging the upp er chime. The base surface has a concave radius, which is matched to the convex chime radius. A lockband surrounds the outer wall (130). Tightening of the lockband causes the concave base radius to fully engage the convex chime radius in a sealing relationship.</p> |
