An external operation handle device for a circuit breaker is provided to display correctly a TRIP operation of the circuit breaker by moving forcedly a rotary handle from an on-position to a TRIP position. An external operation handle device is used for operating remotely a circuit breaker installed within a distribution board and a control board. The external operation handle device includes an adhesive base(3) fixed to a main body case of the circuit breaker, a rotary handle, a turn base(5) coupled through a connective shaft to the rotary handle, and a sliding base(6) connected to the turn base, in order to move a locker handle of the circuit breaker to on/off positions by rotating the rotary handle. An assist unit(13) moves the rotary handle to a TRIP position when the circuit breaker performs a TRIP operation. The assist unit is formed between the adhesive base and the rotary handle and includes a cam body fixed on the adhesive base, a cam follower(11) connected slidably with the rotary handle along an axial direction, and an urging spring(12) for pushing the cam follower against the cam surface. The cam follower is opposite to a cam surface of a cam body(10).
