A grating for heavy load is provided to bear heavy weight and to prevent an object from getting removed by arranging many triangular bars having excellent load bearing capacity in a grating frame to make base portions cross each other in the upper and lower directions and adjacent oblique portions approach to the maximum without hindrance to drainage. A grating for heavy load comprises a rectangular frame(20) fitted to a drain outlet and formed by punching outlets(22) on side plates(21) at regular intervals, cutting the side plates into the necessary length and welding the adjacent sides, many hollow triangular bars(30) welded to two side plates of the frame to form a drainage passage between oblique portions and composed of a base portion(31), oblique portions(32) projected upward from two sides of the base side and an apex portion(33) directing the oblique portions toward a center, and many twist wire type cross bars(50) fitted to many cutting grooves(34) formed on the base portion and the apex portion of the triangular bars at regular intervals and welded not to be projected to the upper part of the frame to keep the triangular bars at regular intervals. |
