<p>A novel aromatic amine derivative having a specific structure having an m-terphenyl group; and an organic electroluminescent element comprising a cathode, an anode, and one or more organic thin film layers sandwiched between the electrodes and comprising at least a luminescent layer, wherein at least one of the organic thin layers consists of the aromatic amine derivative alone or contains the derivative as a component of a mixture. The organic electroluminescent element has a long life. The aromatic amine derivative realizes the element.</p> |
