An apparatus for preventing the sticking of noxious insects on a height sensor installed at stationary axis heavy machinery is provided to measure the loading height of a vehicle without an error by installing a fan motor inside the housing of the height sensor. An apparatus for preventing the sticking of noxious insects on a height sensor installed at stationary axis heavy machinery includes a mounting bar(10), a housing(20), a fan motor, and a control unit. The mounting bar is installed at both sides of the entrance of road. The housing has a sensor which selectively generates an alarm by detecting entering of the overloaded vehicle. The fan motor is installed at the front of a lens of the sensor to generate a wind force. The control unit is installed at the lower part of the mounting bar, being connected to the fan motor. A filter cover having a plurality of ventilation holes for supplying air to the fan motor is installed at the right or left side of the housing. An insect net is installed in the filter cover to prevent entering of foreign materials.
