An anti-theft vehicle-mounted electronic apparatus is provided to record information regardless of insertion and ejection of a display panel. An anti-theft vehicle-mounted electronic apparatus comprises a main body, a display panel(4), a CD drive, and a detachable panel unit(3). The main body receives a hard disk drive. The display panel goes in and out of the main body. The detachable panel stores information reproduced by the CD drive in the hard disk drive. The detachable panel unit stores information regardless of insertion and ejection of the display panel. If information written on the writing medium is not recorded in the hard disk drive, the detachable panel records the information in the hard disk drive.
