The device has a case (6) with a cavity including a lamp (3) and a reflector (2). An outer lens (1) is mounted on the case and has inner face portions (7a, 7b) covered with a metallization layer. The portions are located near a junction (6a) of the lens with the case and not located in front of the lamp to pass a light required for lighting and signalling functions. The layer is interrupted on a periphery of the lens to form non-metalized parts creating a specific light form by a specific design. A screen located between the case and the lens carries the non-metalized parts.
